Atrial Fibrillation: The Epidemic of the 21st
Century?
Wednesday, March 12, 2008
5:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time (GMT -07:00, San Francisco)
Duration: 2 hours
This web-based seminar will address early detection of atrial fibrillation as well as the importance of initiating early anticoagulation to manage atrial fibrillation and the use of ablation to cure atrial fibrillation which could ultimately eliminate this risk factor for stroke.
Based on the quality parameters measured in relation to stroke, California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco identified a lack of early identification of patients with Atrial Fibrillation which creates a high risk group for stroke. This Webinar, moderated by Cardiologist Richard Gray, MD will feature CPMC Electrophysiologists:
Andrea Natale, MD
Steven Hao, MD, FACC
Richard Hongo, MD
Salwa Beheiry, CCRN, EP Director of Electrophysiology
