To my dear friends, patients and colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that I have accepted the position of Senior Medical Director of the California Pacific Medical Center atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia program in San Francisco, CA.

I have been affiliated with the electrophysiology program at California Pacific Medical Center and Marin General Hospital since 2001, serving in several capacities as a consultant and physician.

During the last seven years, the electrophysiology programs at California Pacific Medical Center and Marin General Hospital have grown substantially, earning a prominent regional and national reputation. Together known as Sutter Pacific Heart Centers they became the leading atrial fibrillation programs on the West Coast performing more than 350 atrial fibrillation ablations per year.

My colleagues in San Francisco are Dr. Steven Hao and Dr. Richard Hongo. They are young talented electrophysiologists who will continue to collaborate with me, growing the program even further to become one of the leading academic and training centers on the West Coast.

I will dedicate 25% of my time on a monthly basis to be in the San Francisco Bay Area.
